A mural dedicated to Stratton, past and present, has been painted onto the Greenbridge Underpass. Not only does this brighten the area but it also educates about the history of our parish!
The mural begins with a Roman soldier walking along a path from which Stratton was named (strata = Latin for paved street). It continues with historic icons and moments in time to tell the story of Stratton, all the way up to the present day where a Honda and Mini have been depicted to represent the local vehicle manufacturing businesses. It finishes with the brand new Stratton skate park, which opened up to the public in July 2023!
This mural was created by the talented Sarah Harris which she started in the summer of 2023 and completed by the end of 2023!
